Kajang Tribe, A Primitive Village in South Sulawesi
If in West Java there is the Baduy Tribe, then in South Sulawesi there is the Kajang Tribe.
This is the last destination of Modul Nusantara's journey in Bulukumba. At this time, the Kebhinekaan series landed in a primitive tribe in Bulukumba, South Sulawesi. This tribe is known as the Kajang Tribe. They live in a village called Tana Toa.

The Kajang Tribe is a tribe that still upholds its customs and culture. The people of the Kajang Tribe are famous for their simplicity and their lives are still completely dependent on nature. They still use traditional lamps as lighting, use wood as fuel for cooking, and use other simple living equipment. The Kajang people do not even use electricity or other electronic devices, such as televisions or hand-phones.

Another uniqueness of the Kajang Tribe is that the people who never wear any footwear wherever they go. In addition, the people of the Kajang Tribe also more often wear dark-colored clothes, such as black or dark blue. Clothes with flashy colors can hardly be found here. It is because the Kajang Tribe people believe that clothes are a symbol of simplicity, that is highly upheld by them.
