Modul Nusantara, the Way to Know More about South Sulawesi

    An unforgettable experience, exploring South Sulawesi through Modul Nusantara class with exchange students from all over Indonesia. Modul Nusantara class is one part of PMM2 programs, which the purpose is to give knowledge about culture, uniqueness, difference, and diversity in South Sulawesi. There are four main activities within Modul Nusantara that need to be completed by the students. These four activities consist of Kebhinekaan, Inspiration, Reflection, and Social Contribution.

Kebhinekaan

    It is an activity exploring the diversity of culture, religion, and history. It is conducted by visiting several cultural places, such as Paotere Port, Bontosua Island, Fort Rotterdam, heroes’ tomb, etc. This activity aims to increase students’ insight and understanding about South Sulawesi’s culture.

Inspiration

    This activity is conducted by visiting several public figures, such as culture practitioner, local regent, local mayor, etc. and getting material about certain topics from them. Inspiration session has a purpose to inspire the students with the stories that have been delivered by the public figures.

Reflection

    Reflection session is such an evaluation of the previous activities that have been done by the students. This activity consists of discussion, documentation, or self-reflection note about the previous activities.

Social Contribution

    In this session, the students ask to do such a campaign to help people around who are needed. Social contribution is the last activity that should been done by the students to complete Modul Nusantara activities.
